Future dApp Developments

After releasing version 1.0 of our dApp, we plan to further develop our ScoopUp dApp in several ways.

Bot Signalling

We plan on integrating Bot Signaling and participating in this function to keep bots and bad actors at bay from stealing rewards from our userbase.

Social logins

Allow users to use ScoopUp without needing to use VeWorld wallet. Allows wider user base to interact with our dApp.

Demand Based Rewards / Global Budgeting

We plan to integrate demand based rewards as well as allocate our rewards budget across the globe according to demand (similar to Greencommuter). These developments will keep our reward pool healthy and scale appropriately based on demand and changes to the weekly allocation and macro DAO emissions at large.

In-App Staking

Offering our users an opportunity to stake their B3TR on our platform using veDelegate as a backend. This helps us with better user voting retention and simplifies the voting process for users.

Marketplace-As-A-Service

We would love to get a MaaS set up within our dApp that would allow users to purchase real world items with their B3TR tokens. Most of these items would be dog centric, such as compostable waste bags, eco-friendly dog leashes, eco-friendly treat bags, etc.

Geotagging and Heatmaps

Allow users to tag and share the geolocation of where their dogs defecate, creating a heat map of hotspots of dog activity.
